SNRE Graduate Programs
The School of Natural Resources and Environment offers both an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Ecology (IEC). The M.S. and Ph.D. curriculum consists of courses in ecology, social sciences, natural sciences, sustainability sciences, data science, electives and research. IEC students choose from courses across the university and work with IEC-affiliated faculty.
Students' research areas include ecology, social science, conservation, biology, environmental policy and management, data science and artificial intelligence, and sustainable development.
The IEC M.S. degree requires a minimum of 30 credit hours, and the Ph.D. degree requires a minimum of 90 credit hours.
